I agree with the set-format but never understood why betting on each set. Instead of 5 sets 2k each, do first to win 3 sets for 10k. That way one will get all the $ and it will be an exciting format for the fans. Of course it can seem unfair if you win 25-12 and 25-17 and your opponent wins...

Before starting, tell your opponent that instead of playing many 50$ sets race to 7, you'll do 1 race to 21 for $250 + tabletime. That way you won't end up even after countless hours, and the best part, you can quit winner and no one can complain :-)
