You are not using cards? In Norway it is waaaay more common to use a debitcard to pay, even for chewing gum. No one, except criminals, have lots of cash on them. In average every Norwegian is using a card to pay goods for atleast 200 times a year, totalling over 75 % of all shopping.

Every single game is worth $ 500. You either win or lose $ 500, every single game, no matter how you read it. If you fail to see this, you have to post if I ever play you for money :D

Interesting thread!!! I started playing at 16, and I played about 2 hours a day for 2 years, and then I started to drink and date girls, so I only played once in a while, before not playing at all for 3 years. I guess 1700 hours in total. When I was 23, I started playing 5-10 hours a week...

I am planning on going this year. Just like with the DCC, I seem to be 1 year late, and go the first year in a new location. I have only great experiences with the Derby though, so not too worried :-)

Too tough, and I say that after watching a match played with brand new cloth and good, warm lights over the table... Probably perfect for one-pocket, but not for 9-ball/10-ball.
