I would make sure to always bring an old ball with me to the poolhall, then replace the old ball with one of their new when no one were looking. After a year you have perhaps 10 brand new tv-sets you can sell on e-bay. Just make sure to visit many different poolhalls.

Tony Drago is probably the fastest top-player today. It's always fun to watch him play. Minnesota Fats once said about a fast player that after he had pocketed the 8 and 9 he hung the 7.

Derby City Classic is 9-ball and a short race to 7, with between 250-400 players competing. Still, Ralf Souquet has incredible results from such a tournament where luck is a big factor. So, imo, tournaments can definitely show who's the best. Ralf's results at DCC 2010: didn't enter 2009...

I can't disagree with you more on this one. In Europe we are being teached that pool is a gentleman's game from the first time we play, and I think the majority of players here will call fouls on themselves.

Not free :( I paid a fee at the start of the year that gave me access to all European Championships (pupil, girls, juniors, men, women, wheelchair) in 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball and 14-1 + the 7 eurotours. It was really cheap then, like 35 $ for a year, and with multiple tables to choose from at...

Arm Tendonitis can be damn hurtful. I've had it, and I couldn't play pool for months. Was it caused by pool? I don't know, but the doctor sure thought so.
