Dynaspheres individual cue balls now available for purchase in EUR regions

Unless you have played a few hours with a Dyna set you can't really appreciate how good these are. The cue will be cleaner longer, and clean up easier than any rock you have ever struck. IMHO there is really nothing as good on the market, and I own Aramith Tournament, Recent 2 year old...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Yes the Queens are magnetic if I recall so they can be returned on a coin op table. Really a genius creation. Wish it had really caught on. I also bought the black T Shirt because I think the graphic is so very cool. Really excellent artwork.

    Vacuum Recommendations

ANY of the rechargeable "Dust Buster" type vacuums have a relatively low suction and most all come with a brush attachment. Very low cost solution.

PSA: Don’t do this to your balls!

2.5 years in and I still love my CG 16. I couldn't be happier. The balls ABSOLUTELY get dirty JUST from the touch of human hands and the natural oils on our skin. The cleaner once a week or so puts them back in the condition they were in when I first took them out of the box. A consistent...

Clean Gleem Polisher Review from an owner...

Great point. I was thinking just a TINY little bump on one side toward the front. I TOTALLY agree, my fear is balls jumping out. Still, probably give it a try this weekend just to see if I CAN get a mandatory rotation. That said, It's really just for curiosity. I am really pleased with the...

Clean Gleem Polisher Review from an owner...

I have not tried it yet, but your post started my mind thinking. I am going to Home Depot or similar and maybe get some of the smallest rubber, stick on, bumpers that go on kitchen cabinet doors. Maybe even but them in half and may have to shave them down, but I am going to put one tiny bumper...

Clean Gleem Polisher Review from an owner...

First, the Diamond is a great machine and IS designed to rotate the balls. Still, the Clean Gleem design gets this feed back often, and it is not really particularly justified. I have had mine for nearly 3 years and use it constantly. I use the Aramith / Alcohol mixture in a quality atomizing...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Thanks to my friend Michael Hoffman, I was able to add an upgraded cue ball to this quite old set by "Elephant". The original cue ball came with a TEENY little red star that was SCREENED onto the ball. It completely wore off after the first few racks of use. A TERRIBLE product. I saw a few...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I DO have a question for you folks who have done so well to offer this set! Does this set come with game instructions, or that VERY cool set of cards?

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Wow those are some VERY rare sets my friend! The only one I can discuss is the Numberless Set. I was blessed by a member here to be able to buy one new / unused for $100.00 + shipping a couple of years ago :-)

    5 Ball

Unfortunately, my game sucks equally with either the new, or traditional color scheme, so not a deal breaker for me for certain. I own both the Aramith Black, and a BUNCH of traditional sets. As best I recall, BOTH are still numbered in case the color throws you off! :-)

    Ball cleaner questions

The mixture does a GREAT job even when the balls are quite dirty and have contact marks when applied while my machine is running. The issue with using straight aramith cleaner is that it clogs up the cleaning pads of the machine. With the mixture, I seem to get the same great result and it...

    Ball cleaner questions

I'm a little late to this thread, but my 2 cents worth is that I REALLY like the result of the 91% alcohol / 2 tbs of Aramith cleaner but I actually spray the mixture onto the balls WHILE THE MACHINE IS RUNNING! Seems to me that I get better coverage. That said, I also have a different type of...

    Ball Cleaner

I like Chem-Pak but find that it is like a car wax that leaves a microscopic film on the balls When they collide, it makes tiny with contact marks. After a while the balls look really dull. Aramith seems not to to do this in my experience. As mentioned earlier, 2 tbsp aramith to a cup of 90%...

Just bought a table. Ball question.

I have 3 sets of Dynaspheres from a "Skittles" set I paid $50 dollars for to their highest end "Rhodium" set and I can not tell ANY difference in performance across their low, medium and high price lines. Just very different styles. I honestly REALLY enjoy them ALL and recommend ANY dynasphere...

WTB: Dynasphere / Dynaspheres Rhodium cue ball (only)

I have seen and played a Rhodium set and understand why you would want that cue ball it's excellent. I also have a set of Arcos II myself and that cue ball is (in my opinion of course) as good as the Rhodium and looks almost exactly the same. There is a LOT of debate about Arcos II technology...
