    Prototype Heubler

No, it wasn't. I was told that when Paul Huebler made a new cue, he would build 2 or 3 to take to shows with him. This one was not put into production. So this is 1 of MAYBE 2 or 3 in existence. Who knows, could be the last one of these left!

    Tip Install Issues

Have you told them to rough both the tip and the ferrule with 80 or 100 grit sandpaper? If that don't work, rough with the same grit, then take a razor and cut score lines in both tip and ferrule. I use Loctite super glue Gel Control. I have only had 1 tip pop off and I did this same thing to...

    Sponsorship

Sounds like if a cue maker was going to sponsor someone, regardless if it's a friend or not, to get a written contract drawn up with whatever stipulations both sides agree to and for however long. That way both parties get their use out of the deal. Nathan Brugmann

    Black/orange spec linen

Someone was looking for some awhile back. Viking has it, but won't sell any, it's for their use only. 1 option I heard (can't remember from who) was to get black/white spec and buy some orange cloth dye. Install the wrap then dye over it. Black stays black and white turns orange. Nathan...

Gonna build a low squirt shaft

I could be wrong on this, but, years ago I used to watch a show called Mr. Wizard on nickelodeon. Big science guy and tought kids about it through experiments. I recall an episode that discussed strength in pipes. He took a weight and 2 pipes, same o.d. but 1 was hollow, the other solid. He...

    Anyone try Inlace Acrylester?

The cue is finished! Kaity wanted a linen wrap on it so she went with black w/ green specks. This cue hits VERY VERY stiff. Butt weighed in at 15.6 oz with a 4.0 oz shaft. Ultraskin  hard tip, Uni-Loc pin

Clear coating an autograph on a butt? DFWl

I had my first cue that I made autographed by Mike Massey. He used a sharpie. I scuffed around the signature with 320, spun it on my lowest setting and sprayed the cue with 4 layers of Krylon acrylic. Then light scuff with 320 again. Then a few layers of CA thin, then wet sand, buffed and...
