    Beware of Royce827

What I’m getting is replacing something on the cue like an butt cap, but not telling a buyer that it’s not all original from the cue maker. I haven’t seen any actual evidence this is happening. Seems to all be assumptions and assertions at this point. Someone said he had a lot of Scruggs blanks...

    Beware of Royce827

Sounds like it was more the agreeing to 450, then pulling back to 400, then refusing to pay for shipping, and then on top of that not paying the fees properly. Of course the seller could have just said not after the 450 didn’t work out. But I get that after things pile up, you decide it’s not...

    Beware of Royce827

I read through the rambow thread. Definitely ironic that he didn’t acknowledge any of the assertions made, but created a thread to complain about another member.

    Beware of Royce827

There was a previously ended auction on that cue for around $600. There was also another auction prior to that which was ended early. I was keeping track of this as it seemed odd. I wasn’t sure if was missing something, so I didn’t bring it up.

    Beware of Royce827

Couple questions...... How did the seller know this to back out? That cue has been listed several times on eBay and appears to have ended with bids around the amount he was asking on here. Also, there have been questions asked in the threads about the cue and never answered. So, what’s going...

    Champion prize $150,000USD

The betting would have to be legal in the state which the tournament was held before you could use that as a justification to enforce such law. To my knowledge, not too many states have legal sports betting in the U.S. Obviously my knowledge doesn’t extend to other countries. There might very...

Should pros be allowed to rob amateur events?

Sounds like he needs to be barred(for being a douche, not his skill level). Make a rule that you have to play out the tournament to get paid. Also, never let the winners side play so much faster so that you have that many still on the losers side.

    Updated FargoRates are out

Not to mention, I didn’t see a challenge to anyone with certain Fargo rate. It was specifically to a single player. Which I appreciate as someone is trying to get a game. But for you to interject and use that as a claim to Fargo not being accurate is asinine. Had the challenge been for anyone...

    Updated FargoRates are out

This post is out of touch with reality. I’m not defending Fargo or weighing in on the challenge. Just your post. To claim that no one taking this proves anything is ridiculous. Even if someone took the bet, they would have to play quite a few sets to prove it. According to Fargo, he has a 20%...

What we need is something different to watch

Depends on your audience. If you’re just looking to give pool fans something different, they might want to watch lesser skilled players because of the stakes being played. If you’re looking to draw new viewers outside of pool, possibly not. Also have to keep in mind, how often do sets for big...

WPS Grand Final and US Open: how did they perform?

If you look at Corey’s Fargo rate compared to how he played in these two events, it does show what everyone was seeing.....that he was playing better than he has been(not that he isn’t a great player). I’ve only recently become familiar with Fargo ratings, but thus far I see more examples of it...

What we need is something different to watch

In poker you can get away with someone who has a big personality and a ton of cash playing without must skill. The variance(some call it luck) allows them to somewhat stay afloat or at least not look like they are getting destroyed. Unfortunately with pool, not matter how much you talk or how...

What we need is something different to watch

For commentators, a pro pool player like JJ that is not boring or annoying. Then you need just an interesting commentator who isn’t necessarily a pool player, but is a great commentator. Think Joe Rogan. Hell, for action match commentary, get Keith out there and just let him talk. People will...

    What I’d like to see

It’s more of a beginner thing, but very helpful when you are first starting. For me, when I was about 16, the pool hall I basically lived in had a lot of regulars who a beginner would think were good. They would say typical myth shit like “never pass a pocket” and “the side pockets are bigger...

World Pool Series Grand Final (8Ball) 31 Oct-3Nov

Nothing will change until you are getting a minimum of 500k unique viewers watching. No one is going to spend enough money on advertising that will make a difference until there is the potential to be seen by millions. 500k would get their attention and it would take more to even think about...

    reversing english

You still haven’t given an explanation or example of what you are asking. You used an example of imparting spin on an object ball, and then followed up with asking about the cue ball. One would normally assume you are still talking about cue to object ball collisions. You also are using terms...
