    The JPA I believe but I'm not entirely sure, I researched this some time ago because I wanted to play in the big Open events and then I found out what a shit show pro pool is in Japan. Anybody can be a pro here if they pay money and pass a simple bowlliards test, even if you never win anything...

    It allows you to win money at tournaments.. you need to be a pro to get paid. Amateurs get merchandise or something.

    In Japan the pro players need a "pro license" which costs $1000 or something and you need to pass a test. After getting your license you need to pay $150 or something (I don't remember the exact numbers) each month to be able to call yourself a "pro". I heard that 99% of the "pro" players here...
