Can some one enlighten me on the differences in the cue balls ie: red dot, red circle, red triangle, red logo, measles. . . Why do you refer to some of them being more "zingy"? Andy

I have two of the measles balls. They both came out of the same type of sealed packaging. One is very white in color the other is ivory colored. They weigh the same, are the same size, have the dots in the same places and seem to have the same finish. I think it is just a difference in the dye...

One of the reasons I dont go to SBE is a lack of 14.1. This would gove me a reason to go.

I can't believe I'm the first straight pool league player. . . I shoot on a house straight pool league and a 14and1.com league. I'll be dropping the house league and looking to get on a second 14and1.com league. Yeah, I like straight pool! Andy

I just keep my hands clean with regular handwashing during the tournament. During REALLY humid conditions I will use an alcohol wipe on my hands to help heep them dry.

I would add to this: Moving your break ball around the rack to start. Going into the rack does not have to be done at warp speed. Get balls off the rails early. Try and leave position on more than one ball. It is amazing how soft you can hit into clusters. you don't have to send balls all over...

I like the idea of being known by a nickname. But if you dig enough you can find out who I am. If I have a problem with someone this board is not, nor should it be, where it gets taken care of.
