I think that's part of why they are changing it. Now players won't have to win several qualifiers just to have a chance to play in enough pro events to end up in high ranking. I think it's better in the long run for the up and coming players that are trying to get on the tour.

This looks like a fun event! It's a tough date though...overlapping with a BCA Ranking event (Turning Stone). I guess that means us normal players might have a better shot at the money though :)

Shane will most definitely be shooting with a a full Cuetec cue...shaft and butt. I am not sure which Cuetec shaft he will use but it will definitely be made by them. After his tournament in Quatar he will make the switch to his new cue.

I think they are both in China right now. We had a great time. It turns out Paradise is owned by one of Borana's friends from NY so that was neat meeting him and getting to see his place. The tables played great, I may be in the minority here, but I LOVE the way Diamond tables play. I wish...
