    Finish!

I started off with CA and no ventilation and it burned my lungs and made me sick as hell for a week. Painful coughs, shortness of breath, and a dizzying headache. I only use CA for the couple inches of shaft that needs clear now. I have tried epoxy, auto clear, CA, lacquer, aerosol clear...

FS: Jacobs chucks, shanks, misc shop tools...

More pics. Also, the chucks are well used, but they open and close freely and are very smooth. There are some dings on em, but they all work fine.

FS: Jacobs chucks, shanks, misc shop tools...

I've got 3 Jacobs drill chucks I don't need. All are 14N ball bearing super chucks. One has a Jacobs R8 taper installed. I also have 7 one inch Jacobs straight shank tapers for sale. All are JT3 and 1 inch straight. There's a motor I bought a while back that I've never used and I believe...

Controlled drilling with a lever operated tailstock quill

I found several different end mills on ebay. I bought eight 5/16 solid carbide TiN coated end mills for $25 shipped. Another guy has long end mills, like 4 and 6 inch long, for $15 or $20. I love ebay. Lol. Joe

    cue rattle

No, it was 60 minute epoxy. I'm pretty sure he didn't use enough of it. He has a tendency to be too conservative on glue usage, lol. Joe

    cue rattle

My helper kid made himself a sneaky a while back, and he recently found the exact same problem. The pin buzzes, but its not loose. Once its together, its fine though. I'm not sure if he's gonna pull the pin, or just not worry about it. I personally wouldn't worry about it. Joe

    Industrial Cue

Different guys charge different amounts, but one thing is for sure, a one piece butt is hard to do. I'm making a one piece cocobolo butt, and I taper it every 3 or 4 weeks, and so far, its had a LOT of movement. It might end up being cut up and used for other things. If you are intent on have...

    A2ZCNC's QCTP - Good, Bad, or So-So?

I've never had any trouble with the piston coming loose. I did have the threads strip out of the aluminum, mounting base, so I had a new one made with steel threads instead of aluminum and its been trouble free ever since. Joe

    My favorite borer

You can buy end mills cheap on ebay. I use em in my tailstock quite often. I use the 1/2 inch end mill for boring a plug hole in a join or shaft. 1/4 for 5/16 pins, and 5/16 for 3/8 10 pins. Just make sure your tailstock is in line with the headstock, because these suckers cut regardless of...
