I love the "I’ve already said that I was determined that my first cue would come out perfect" comment. Hehe, over a dozen cues into this and I still don't have one that I would advertise (even though I think many of them play great, I still see minor flaws). I also love the picture of the ring billet with the gap... I wasn't so concerned with the gap in the glue up as I was in how uneven the cut was by comparing the depth of the strips at the top of the billet vs. the bottom. Oh boy, it makes me realize how far I've come and how MUCH MUCH MUCH farther I have to go.
