I can't speak for Carolina Cues. Never tried one. But I can say that LP's are the best custom for the money hands down. They play incredible and are pretty much all I shoot with now. I have a Richard Black, Schon, etc and they have now been retired. LP's fill my case. Lee also works well...

Well the cool thing is you brought back out of a dark closet an old cue to be played with again. Considering what you guys probably paid for it I would say whether it's a Ram or not and whether you should of had it refinished or not doesn't matter now. It's a sweet looking cue and I bet plays...

I agree keep the wrap or at least have it rewrapped in the same. It's keeps that vintage 70's look to the cue. 70's vintage? ohh man I'm getting old:sorry:

Not to be negative but for $800 I can get a nice Schon player and a good J/B both for that price or maybe even less. I know it's new and enticing because it's made by Schon but it has to really offer up something more than the name to carry that much of a cost. Is there something special about...

They are both legit. The first cue pictured is a Lucasi Hybrid series. It is their new low deflection shaft line. The second cue is their standard line which usually features a standard maple shaft with a uni-loc joint. Both are great players. Hope this helps.
