Lucky number 13 from catalog 3. You're changing that wrap... ouch... That wrap is half the cue, sorry to see it go.

he intends to keep the cue & use it

Black and red spec for 2 1/2 inches on the outsides, solid black in the middle.

I agree with others, if you can salvage the wrap do it. The value according to Chris site is $700 to $800 in average condition if everything is straight.

In addition Mike Webb made the comment that you could rewrap the cue in the original combination of colors.

I agree keep the wrap or at least have it rewrapped in the same. It's keeps that vintage 70's look to the cue. 70's vintage? ohh man I'm getting old:sorry:

i passed all this info you gave along to the owner today
he wants to "sleep on it" a little before making the decision to go ahead and sell it as is or keep it as his player

one note though> it appears that the shaft is not the original, it's about 25/1000ths larger than the stainless joint . the rings all match up, but i was told it's most likely not the original shaft. he cant reach the guy he bought it from to find out anything.
