Carolina Cues or Lp cues

Was thinking on having them made a cue for me. Does any one have any opinions on this. It's between them an a LP cues.
 
I had 2 Merry Widow Carolina Cues that were great. One was really awesome. I should have kept it as a back up cue.
I've never played with an LP. Looking forward to a review on them.
 
I had Carolina Cues build me an ebony SP with several non-standard, special features. Trevor was unbelievably accommodating and there were no extra charges for my special requests or non-standard specs.

Also ordered a matching 314-2 shaft but didn't specify weight. After I received the cue and shaft I was sorry I hadn't requested a lighter shaft. I called Trevor to find out what it would cost to return it for a lighter one. Even though it had a custom joint collar, Trevor refused to take any money to correct my mistake. They get high scores from me for quality products at great prices and unexcelled customer service.

cyrex has a carolina cue that really impressed me. their work looked flawless. i wouldn't hesitate to get one of their cues. i'll have to look in to LP cues. i've seen the site but i can't recall it that well.
 
I have a carolina that looks and plays great. IMO they are normally under
priced for what you get. Sometimes Joe at Bamacues has something for sale.
 
Lee Peppers has done 2 Titlist conversions for me & they're both very well done.
 
I had CC do a sp break for me that I love. They also do many of my repairs. Are they going to be the cheapest? No, you can always buy production for less. But they offer the best price for any true custom-made that I have seen. And their work is always impeccable.

And their good people.

LP Custom Cues
 
I can't speak for Carolina Cues. Never tried one. But I can say that LP's are the best custom for the money hands down. They play incredible and are pretty much all I shoot with now. I have a Richard Black, Schon, etc and they have now been retired. LP's fill my case. Lee also works well with you one on one to get you the cue you want. His prices can't be beat. here are a couple of examples.

Carolina Cues

I can say that I have owned several Carolina Custom's and they have all been well executed and great players..I use one now and I really like it- PLUS it looks OUTSTANDING! I really think that Carolina Customs offer great $$ value in a custom cue....

I think they are both good cues, Lee's will be going up , becouse they are a custom . I would definatley go with the LP, great guy to deal with also. Jim

I do not have any experience with LP; however, your absolutely can not go wrong with a Carolina Custom Cue. I have sold dozens of their cues and have received nothing but the highest praise from my customers. Trevor is great to work with and his pricing is very fair! I have a full splice Carolina cue that is one of the best hitting cues I have had in a long time.

I am currently playing with a LP cue, full splice with an OB Classic shaft! Considering all the other cues I own, LP is the one thats in my case!

Can't go wrong with an LP custom cue especially for the price.
 
LP cues will give you more bang for the buck, and you will not be dissapointed. The one I have is an incredible shooter, anyone that has tried it, cannot believe the hit, and then I tell them the cost..:eek: Lotta Cue for the cash!
