The third game of the double in the Miami v/s Atlanta match Shannon broke and Jonny shot the next shot. Shannon was supposed to break and shoot, Lee and everyone on Miami missed it. Could of changed that game outcome.
I dealt cards for 8 years, 3 of them in the high limit room. The people with the most money are not always the one's who tip best.
I have made plenty from those that have lots of money and plenty from those that do,
Some people just don't tip.
Off with their heads.
The casinos are the only place that has the rooms and space to have these events. It would cost to much to do it anywhere else. Unless you can find a big hotel chain to sponsor these events that has the space for them.
your post alluded to them not adding the buy back is something new. IT has been like that for years.
I am not saying they don't need to make a profit. But be up front about it. 30k in but backs for 3 events is pretty sweet.
Shane makes real good money and has investments, he is actually one of the smarter ones.
If he want to gamble that is his choice. It's funny they never bring up the guy who is snorting more then that ever night.
It's none of anyone's business.
Yep, many players have complained about it in the past. Do the math. The payouts do not include buy backs.
If they did how could you announce the total payout before the finals. Buy backs go all the way to the end of the tournament.
I can tell you this. It's not easy and he does it because he LOVES pool.
If he was doing this for financial reasons he would of stopped after the first week.
I have done my share of commentary and it is not as easy as some might think.
However, listing to Alvin bash TAR on the air just pissed me off. And the horrible commentary made hit the mute button,
I hope JR reads this thread.
how about you pay the money for a flight down there and watch it live or quit *****ing.
People have better things to do with their time then to care about your $10 sweat bet,
I seem to remember back in the early days of TAR when we would all talk about how the number dropped when we would switch from free to PPV. I remember a couple times when the free viewer numbers where over 2 or 3 k and when it switched to ppv 1 or 2 hundred was a good day.
I think the 200k...
