LD Shafts are bobo, I don't care what you say...

Un joueur de la piscine est plus heureux quand il est en train de gagner la trésorerie de quelqu'un d'autre .

LD Shafts are bobo, I don't care what you say...

I think you have a point there. I've tried a few LD shafts. I don't like them and I don't play any better with them. While they have been subject to some wild claims in the early days there's enough research now to explain what they hope to achieve with the design. It may not be the choice for...

What cue weight do you play with?

I believe the balance of a cue is more important than an exact weight. i like a forward balanced cue and my preference is for an ebony forearm with a flat faced big pin joint. Most of my cues are 60 inches long weighing in between 19.75 and 22oz. Tip diameter preference is 12mm but i have a...

    Custom cue question

This may sound odd but have you considered buying a butt that you like and having Richard make you a couple of shafts and match them to the butt? I like my Richard Black cue it has a good feeling and feedback to me. I didn't care for his tips so I changed them out. I rate it #4 in my...

    The Public's Perception on Pool

Alfredo de Oro won his last Three Cushion World Championships in 1919 at the age of 55 or 56. He was born in 1863. Just sayin :) don't write folks off because they are over 50. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfredo_de_Oro

    14.1 and shxxty fundamentals

Video is great to review and it gives you a perspective on yourself that you can't truly get otherwise. I have my highest runs when i'm having fun and have confidence. Sometimes I believe we think too much about outcome and not process. We can control process, outcome not so much :)

Do your drop pockets sound like a box of rocks???

I've been using some cutouts made from a sheet of memory foam in my table for a few years and it definitely mutes the sound of the first few balls.

    what size shaft?

13mm would be more marketable to players who like 13 mm shafts. I'm a fan of 12mm shafts I wouldn't buy it if it had 13mm shafts.... :) But look at it this way, if you get a thick shaft then your future buyer can have it turned down. You can't add the wood back once it's been taken off. Maybe a...
