How Would You Shoot The 7?

I'll hit that shot on newer cloth. On worn cloth that doesn't grab draw very well, I'm following with a little bit of inside all day. The follow is a more natural path for the cue ball.

Need help on diamondizing my gc3

Glen does great work. The red label Diamond he fixed here is now the best playing table in Northern California, reputed by several excellent NorCal players that would know. Disregarding what he has to say, or "not looking for your opinion realkingcobra" is a big mistake. Whether or not his...

    How Would You Play This?

Bank the 2 up table two rails hoping to leave it behind the 7 and 5, with top on the cueball to bring it up and snug onto the 4. Even if you don't get the 2 behind the 7-5, if you still block the bottom right pocket with the 7-5 and get the cueball onto the 4 you're in a better position. Might...

OK, let me tell you why you're all wrong...

Fwiw, I agree with a lot of your points Kyle, but one thing I don't agree with is your view on gambling or "the dark side" of pool as you call it. Gambling is a big part of pool in America and an even bigger part of the history of pool in America. I don't believe that should be shunned or...

there are cue balls and then there are cue balls

Played a little heavy to me. Not saying it weighs more, just plays heavy to me. I've only used it a handful of times.

there are cue balls and then there are cue balls

I use the Super Aramith Pro Cup ("measles") cue ball more than anything, but the red circle doesn't bother me. I don't like that black logo cue ball that comes with the tournament sets though.

Are tournament handicaps similar to welfare?

Play or don't play. Whining about it is stupid.

Are tournament handicaps similar to welfare?

Just quit *****in and outrun the nuts. If you put all that time in to get better and still don't have any heart, I don't know what to tell you.

    no chalk

You're obviously not Filipino. I remember something about Dennis saying he uses English on every shot and rarely uses center ball. I too rarely use center ball.

    Mike Dechaine's playing shaft

Wood ferrule doesn't bother me at all.

Are stiff shafts harder to draw the ball with?

Everest. I've also used Kamui medium on both the Tiger and the OB shafts. The results haven't varied through tip changes, and I tried several different tips on the Tiger.
