    Lomax or Hanshew Jumper

I was able to get the ball off the table with the Hanshew, just felt like it took more effort.

    Lomax or Hanshew Jumper

My honest opinion at the end of the day was I didn't like it. It was great to dart jump with, like really good, unfortunately that's not how I usually jump. Jumping under my arm I found it difficult to get the ball off the table. So I ended up selling it and ordering another Lomax, which I had...

Top 5 Favorite Custom Cue Makers

I've only tried many cuemakers cues, never owned any really except a Lomax jumper lol. The best hitting so far out of what I've tried were a Scruggs and Diveney sneaky pete.

    General rules question

I don't have a rule about it. I assumed that a frozen ball was considered part of the rail, but I'm reading perhaps that the rail is considered as 'dead'. I'm not sure this means the rail is out of play?

    General rules question

I'm confused how this is a foul? My assumption was, when a ball is frozen to rail it is considered part of the rail? Meaning when the original object ball hits the 2nd object ball, is the 2nd object ball not considered part of the rail? This is the first rule question I'm truly puzzled by.

7 or 8 ft table - What is the preferred table

I also started on an 8 ft table. But now personally I would go with a 7 ft or 9 ft if I had to choose one. Mostly because I don't think most places have tournaments on 8 footers, at least not here in Utah.

Plain Jane is the same as a merry widow. Solid wood with either a wrap or no wrap. No points or inlays, most of the fanciness is from ringwork if it's fancy at all. Sneaky Pete is a cue that looks like a house cue, but has a joint on it. Also I've heard Cogs are nice cues, but I've never hit...

I got $1,500 so tell me........

Scruggs makes a great cue, Bob Frey's also play similar I've heard, he worked with Tim Scruggs. I personally like Schon for mass produced, I use a carbon shaft on mine. At $1500 there is a lot of good cuemakers who will build something for that amount.

Scruggs Cues - Price Developments in the last 15 years

Think for the most part Scruggs have held their value if not gone up because they play great and him passing away.

You'll get a hundred different answers. Some say custom some will say mass produced. Do you like solid maple or a more low deflection shaft?

Yeah, to me it just felt dead when I hit with it. Probably the vibration dampening.
