You can't shark with BBQ!
1. Gates (extra hot, please)
2. Jack Stack (cheesy corn bake with that)
3. Arthur Bryant's (nap time after that sandwich)
Do they have BBQ in St. Louis?
Years ago, after finishing up a night of league bowling during which I lost a chunk of money to a guy on another team (I'm a rotten bowler and he was a jackass), I asked if he wanted to play some pool. He jumped on it, so back to the pool room we went. By the time we left, I had all my money...
Welcome. Looks like you didn't have much trouble picking it back up after the layoff. Nice shooting. I only watched the first rack of 9 ball. Your stroke seems to get a little "punchy" at times, but then, so does Allen Hopkins'.
Keep it up. It's got to be hard to find much time with 4 girls.
That's typically what I'll do. But if it's someone being particularly annoying, I just look 'em in the eye and say "So are you telling me that if you were running out on me, that you would miss on purpose just so I got a chance to shoot?" Nobody has ever answered "yes."
And yeah, yeah . . . "go...
Question for Mark V:
When you say "extra capacity Brunswick drop pockets," is that the same as the pockets used on a GC IV?
If so, how do they fit?
I'm not happy with the capacity of the pockets in my Anniversary.
Thanks,
Steve
Right on the maroon. I've seen the originals. Used to play on them in my younger days when Annies were more common.
You can get a light like mine. I'm sure my wife would love for me to sell it to you (she hates it), but then I'd just have to make another one.
Let me be the first to tell you -- because I won't be the last -- that is a beautiful table.
Seeing yours, I might even cover mine in blue next time.
BTW, are the red pockets originals, or replicas? If the latter, where did you get them?
Yep. Steve played at Raytown Rec. He managed the place for many, many years. Haven't seen much of Steve lately, but last I did, he's still a heckuva nice guy and a helluva player.
