A pool player in the white house?

I'm already a huge Obama supporter but this even moves up a few more notches in my book. Nice bridge!

alright someone tell me what they think i should do

I'd thin the 8 on the left side, maybe with a little top left, and send the cue ball towards the 9. You can leave the 8 on the side rail, hopefully frozen, and leave your opponent nothing to shoot at. You can try hitting it hard enough to possibly make the 9, but I'd probably just try leaving...

Reno U.S. Bar Table Championships..On video?

You mean like the one that TAR did at the last one? Scott Frost Vs SVB + Money match between the Freezer & Edwin Montel Also, TAR has the finals between Parica & Ellerman but I don't see it on there store. If you contact them, I'm sure they can hook you up. It might be after the Nationals...

It's actually a Mike Stacey cue that I picked up at the last VF. If you follow the link you can see some larger pictures of it.

Watchez it doesn't take a genius to realize this thread was started to indirectly take a shot at JAM & Keith. There's your huckleberry. Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smokewagon and see what happens...

    Harriman and schmidt

I don't think Jim was implying that about John, just pool in general. And there are MANY pool players out there that applies too. Which can really go left unsaid if you've been around pool any length of time. And JoeyA has been around pool longer than the leather tip. :D

    Heads up!

Apparently some people have dirtier minds than others and saw it for more than what it was, a ladies hand holding a mouse. I work within the IT industry, supporting the Special Forces, and I found it to be a beautiful depiction of the act of a persons hand holding a mouse. A mouse that is a...

SVB Visits Deaf Children in Denver

That is awesome. It's great to see a pool player doing something positive. Nice change of pace from the Schmidt/Harriman drama.

TAR: Schmidt vs. Harriman Day 1 Report with Pictures

Sounds like one of the most truly amazing straight pool performances was turned in last night. I'm guessing the guys at TAR are pretty happy with having been able to film that live and have on DVD. :) Congrats to TAR for allowing such a performance to take place. Nice recap and pics Justin.

    I think it's very telling...

I'm not going to quote people but there were post made that were out of line, imo. Marlon Manalo beat Rodney Morris 15-10, Busta beat Deuel 15-8 and Efren Reyes, arguably the best 8 ball player ever, beat Austin Murphy 15-6. The only way I think the American viewing public would be better...

    I think it's very telling...

I think it's really telling of a persons character to come on here and bash a young kid, who frequents this forums and a fellow AZ'er if you will, that was only trying to fullfill a dream of playing against the greatest player ever. I think it took a lot of bravery for the kid to put himself...

TAR Livestream from Sidepockets in KC/ Diamond set up

What kind of odds can I get for a guy falling off a ladder? :D It doesn't look like they are using proper safety practices for ladders. Justin you should secure the base of the ladders for them.

Lets get some ACTION Going...lots of TAR matches upcoming!

Did you seriously just say that John Schmidt would have trouble finding backers to play Mike Segel. That's laughable. And I doubt that Mike Segel would need at least 50K posted to play John. I would venture to guess that Mike Segel would have a lot of trouble finding enough backers to put up...

    How about that JOHN SCHMIDT???

I think the score was 125-70 something and I wouldn't call it a decisive win. If John wouldn't have missed at 123 or 122, then I would call it a decisive win. If Oliver wouldn't have got a bad roll off scratching off his break shot it couldn have easily been 125-123 Oliver. Nice match...
