Interesting ideal ... I think Universal shaft (Bill Stroud) tried something similar in the past? If practical, I love this ideal since I play with few cues which all have different joints and I'd prefer to play with one shaft.

It's really hard for me to take you seriously after this sort of "logic". What makes you think you can sell it back at your cost (under worst case scenario)? I'd think real honest worst case is that you lose up to 100% of what you put into it???:confused: P.S. Good luck to the makers...

I am in agreement with this point of view. I don't think 4 1/2 woud be considered "tight pocket" for one pocket game.

I've been on fofurms that take out photos automatically on a reply (I think they replace the photo with a link). That would be a useful feature. I've also been on a forum that used to have quote police who would edit posts (and warn posters) that quote 10000 word posts to make a quick comment...

I'm not sure what your point is. My point was that Predator cues with "leather" come with very thin (not think) wrap. So to swap it out with more traditional leather or linen, it's more work as the handle has to be cut down more ... potentially more cost and not every repair person can/want-to...

I think Predator cues use very think wrap with very shallow channel cut for a wrap.

Do you think 10 ball needed change or fixing? Not sure how frequent "early 10 balls to win" situation comes up? Did rack mechanics figure out 10 ball racking to set themselves with easy combos? When are we changing the rule to move 10 balls to spot racking? :grin:

Lu Shasha got to the hill first, way ahead and couldn't finish it. Han Yu took the chances and finished strong. Also, women's final were AFTER men's final ... given nice evening timezone whereas men's final was in the afternoon. I don't see that in many(any?) sporting events where both men's...

Perhaps you are right .. although it's all hypothetical and that's why it's hard to have these discussions who's the best of all time across generations (in most sports). Right now, IMHO, there is no clear one person who's dominating the women's pool.
