I have been advised that the 11.5 comes sooooo close that it will work, so ordered that tap and will see. First time in 27 or so yrs of doing this I have ran across this REAL Bastard thread....and hopefully the last.

    Bludworth joint pin tap

Had a customer bring me a stripped out shaft that turns out to be a Bludworth. I looked quick at it and thought it was 3/8x10.....NOT. My 3/8x11 drive collar screws down about 1.3 of the way then locks up. I am assuming it is a modified 11.5. Does anyone have the tap that I could borrow? I will...

    Buy UltraSkin Layered Cue Tips

I have been in contact with Richard Ruthven from SIB tips and need to make sure it is clear that he is NOT helping Tom out, so DO NOT send orders thinking it will get sent out by Richard.

    Foam...

You asked: f we take 2 different foams to fill a carbon shaft, the 2 foams have the same density, example 23 lbs/ft3, one is flexible and the other rigid like concrete, which will give the best results, among other things deflection, Thank You! Kim answered: I have built...

    Buy UltraSkin Layered Cue Tips

I reached out a few weeks ago to the SIB guy and he was unable to reach Tom also. Earlier this week I emailed Pooldawg.com to ask when they will have more Ultraskins in stock and their reply was that they will not be restocking them, they didn't give a reason.

    UV wood finish

I did not buy it, I contacted the seller and talked for about 40 minutes. When I found out it was $$$ a quart, I asked if there were sample sizes I could buy to try it first, he said nope. In short, I feel he tried to over sell the product. He didn't say anything about it being very hard to...

    Buy UltraSkin Layered Cue Tips

I reached out to Richard who runs the SIB tips site and he has not had any luck contacting Tom ......, I hope he recovers from whatever he is going thru. He has always been that Upstanding guy. Unfortunately he has been a one man show so if he can't do it, there's no one else to take over...

Anyone have green pearlescent rings or a short piece of rod - or anything similar?

you can always call them to place your order..... They HAVE to tell you the shipping charge at that point. I have ordered from them over the years and never felt shipping was an issue.....unlike some "cue material" specialists/suppliers that basically push it up our butts when it comes to...

    UV wood finish

It's NOT priced well, at $172 a QUART...and be prepared to have to reinvent how to sand/buff it to the shine you are used to, and it may not get there..... I looked at it, and from feedback from others, have decided to pass....

Is it easier/is it possible to re-thread a shaft, or is it easier to replace a joint pin in a butt?

It involves drilling/boring the old threads out and boring to a specific dia. that then, a pre-made plug of what ever material the repair guy wants to use gets inserted with epoxy, and once the epoxy is dried, that than gets bored and tapped for the joint pin to fit into.

    Penn State Motor question

They have never been replaced until now, up til now they were original. I replaced them yesterday and it didn't change the problems. One was completely dead and the other runs at high speed. The dead one, I found the thermister was way outta specs, replaced it with the one from the other board...

I adjusted the High and low speed settings on the board on both of them before they failed. First one ran for 3-4 months and the second one ran for about 2 weeks before...
