Take out the rack and shine a light inside. You can see everything. I dropped a piece of chalk in mine and had to dig it out. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Really no problem at all.

Regarding shaft interchange In my experience, CueCaps is correct. None of my older stitched ring shafts will fit my newer cues. Newer shafts will however fit the stitch ring butts. Anyway here's a bump

Sp-22 SP-22 has 4 ivory windows alternating 4 ivory diamonds. Not 2 ivory windows alternating 2 groups of 4 ivory diamonds.
