Schon, is this $$$ fixing?

Sure, if you got the $$$ it can be a good cue again. I personally would send it to Evan. It will cost a little, but it's totally worth it.

Cue of MaBleua w/ a side of YUCK..

Bid up to $736 with hours to go.. Someone is gonna have a nice cup of MaBleua with a side of yuck when it's over. haha..

Well Well

I guess, I should have kept quiet on this one and got it if for myself?
Once it got over $ 500.00, I lost interest in it.!.
I will be contacting the seller for my cut, for posting it here and getting him more $$ for that cue that only needs minor repairs.

I will use the force on him....... I will get my 10% :D

No kidding. I wonder who the hell is bidding this up. $810.00 now, man there are some dumb f&^ks out there.

Well i'm with Bama on this but... There is nothing on the cue that cannot be fixed... Cost depends on the damage of course... If the final price is around $1000 and repair cost in a range of $300 to $500 then we have a total of around $1300-$1500... You will have a new cue worthed that many but the whole thing is that the butt cap that says "Schon" will be a history... If you want to sell it, i'm almost 100% positive that noone would believe that this cue was a rare Schon of Runde era...If you want to keep it forever then go for it cause these Schons hit excellent... My humble opinion :) costas

Wow, that baby made some money?

Wow, that baby made some money for someone? Or maybe make someone some money in the future?

US $1,175.11

Why is it saying the listing was removed?

It must have been a scam, probabably a hijacked account. I recall the seller was a high activity pawnbroker. Maybe the bids were vigilantes who recognized the ad, or the pawnshop discovered they had been hijacked. In fact, now I wonder if the pictures of the butt design (one side an ivory bar and one side 4 ivory diamonds) were from 2 different cues?

Yeah, I love that eBay move. You bought item. You paid for item. Then eBay pulls the auction and sends you a message saying that it may have been fraudulent. Good luck getting your money back, you now have no evidence because all traces of the auction are GONE! Unless you paid with Paypal, kiss your cash good bye.

Since Runde Schons aren't worth anything

All you AZ members with ivory loaded unique design stitch ring cues can sell them to me for $600.00 ea. I'll buy every one you have.

I was following that auction from day one. E-mailed the seller the first day because I couldn't identify the design. I received a reply the next day that answered my question and the seller added the second group of pictures.

As soon as the link was posted on AZ the auction views doubled and so did the price.

I don't know why the listing was removed but I don't believe the pawn shop was trying to mislead anyone. All the damage was clearly documented in the pics.

There is no way to determine what type of fradulent activity eBay suspected. Even if you are the seller or winning bidder, they will not tell you. They will only tell you if you are the person suspected of the activity. It also doesn't have to be fraud on the seller's side. It could have been suspected shill bidding (actually that is seller-side), or one of the bidders contacted eBay saying that their account was highjacked, etc.
