Here is a beautiful fullsplice built completely by Paul Sumrall....not from a blank! Bocote into ebony with red/black/red/black veneers. One shaft has a brown sugar mark, but is actually a better hitting shaft IMO. The shaft collars differ a little from the ivory joint color, but can be changed...

I had a 2004 zebra wood 4-pt cue with maple and blue veneers quite awhile back. It was constructed well with nice/sharp veneers and it played well. I had also talked to Scott about it and he was easy to talk to. It is the top cue in the picture on the home page of his website (for reference)...

That's correct. I don't remember for sure how deep I went with a weight bolt. If I can adjust the cue to have more weight, I will be glad to do it.

I do a lot of CAD, photoshop, or combination of those when I design cues. I use those programs everyday since I work in an architecture firm. I'll have to post some of the drawings I've done when I get a chance. The last time I had a cue built for me before becoming a cuemaker I did a drawing...

Thanks for the help guys. I have run across VXB bearings. That's probably where I'll get them from. I already have a 10x24x4 needle thrust bearing coming and have to have another smaller one as well to complete my modifications. I do think it's very odd that you can get that size off of amazon...
