I have a lathe, and have done tips, etc... I was just curious. Never used the pads much. Thanks for the info...

When you replace a tip, and use a pad, is it better to apply the pad to the tip, and let it cure, before applying to the ferrule, or do you apply pad to ferrule, let dry, then tip to pad? On a jump/break cue, what is best "pad" material... fiber, acrylic, or no pad?

I just received 20 of the Kamikaze Elite tips. I have yet to play with them, but they are consistent in thickness, and hardness checks out. I will post followup, as play with them. BTW, they were shipped extremely fast!!

So far, I have had 4 scammers who "had exactly what I need", but no legitimate offers. Funny... the scammers all sent me the same pix of their "Sugartree". Apparently, they have compiled a stockpile of photos of cues from many makers, and they share access. Organized crime....

I am looking for this cue. This was a Predator SP, converted for me by Joe Callaluca. I sold it a few years back, when I had an extended illness.

He played awesome... had a chance, too!!

The main issue for me is that events like the Open are separate, single events. The snooker "league" goes on, over and over. That gives those players a real chance to make enough money to live on.

Where do we get to watch it? Who is carrying it, and when? Who is in it, and where will it be? Again, it appears to be in Europe/Britain... I was wondering why there is nothing comparable in the USA.

It seems that they make a pretty good living from it, though. There is the potential to win several thousand dollars in each "round".
