Tiger makes a lot of different tips, Emerald, Sniper, Everest, Onyx, Tiger lamimated and the Icebreaker & JB tips. If I listed all of them half of the poll would be Tiger tips
Surprisingly many use non layered tips. Interesting :o
I just thought to start a fresh thread to see what are we using on our cues these days.
I'll add some options for a poll, I cant include everything so feel free to reply here and tell us what you have and why you have it
To start off: I am currently using Milkduds on my playing...
I sent out an inquiry about a specific cue some six months ago, still no reply to date. Bought something else after a few months waiting for a reply.
Things seem to have gone a bit sideways recently with Schon, wonder what it is all about :frown:
You should definitely try a harder tip. I play a lot better with medium or hard tips than I do with soft tips, more feel for me and easier to control finesse shots
Maybe start with a medium tip and go up in hardness if you like harder feel better.
I prefer medium tips, Kamui Original...
You sir have a beautiful home and pool room :)
Really nice looking place. I noticed that you have a row of cue cases aswell, care to share what can be found in them
Oh and I had the same kind of big a*s watch as you
Taom 2.0 is the way to go.
I wouldnt be worried about the tip splitting, it wont crack if you break with even a half decent technique. It can be broken if you break like a moron and hit the extreme side of the tip, but only by doing that. I have damaged one on a break contest but that was...
^ Way to go trob
Predators have always had some ferrule issues, they are inevitable as their construction method has been taken to extremes with that thin wall and lightweight material. I replaced mine with Tomahawk material and it worked like dream again and has held up just fine
^ Unfortunately I cant give an exact comparasion as I have never had a slow moori on my own cue.
I can only say that it was somewhere between a kamui black ss and s for hardness, a nice pleasant hit and it held up well for a tip that soft tip. I changed mine to a harder tip after a while so I...
I could not agree more. Unfortunately carpeted floors are nearly unexistant in finnish homes :frown: Only a few pool / snooker rooms have carpeted floors that I have come across and not a single home where I have been. I know that my setup looks like a mess but it is the only way of having some...
MvG is currently The name in darts and righteously so.
His fast paced, nearly aggressive style of play is exciting to watch and he has set a few new records this season aswell. Certainly a character worth recognition at the moment. I have a feeling though that he is going to have a similiar run...
^ I'd keep the Willard away from the Revo and hand it off to a knowledgeable repair guy with a lathe to put on the tip. I wouldn't be willing to risk a shaft worth 400$ with a tipping machine, I'd either do it slowly by hand or pay to put it on in a lathe if I were you :)
^ Nice table you got there
Here is a little update on my room where I replaced the old light with a LED panel and set up a darts corner
^ I believe that phrase comes from the fact that Shane uses the edges of the shaft as a reference point for aiming tough shots. There is a video about it on Youtube where Shane talks about how he aims shots that he doesnt shoot purely by feel
The fact is that Shane could play just as...
