Both have a rare 5/16x18 pin still have their original finish - both still in great shape for 40+ year old cues :)

Shane shot with a gold letter joss from what I recall, and later switched to his mom's schon R2, but kept using the gold letter joss shafts.

Looks like a very early Meucci. I've only seen 1 or 2 with a piloted joint. Very rare, but I don't know if I could pull the trigger without more details...

Forgot to add, the cue has a 5/16x18 pin. According to Dan Janes this was only used on a dozen or so early Joss cues

Many members on here (including myself) recommend Scot at Proficient Billiards for good reason. He's refinished and repaired just about every type of cue you can imagine, and experience is what you want when handling something as special. Not to mention his cost and turnaround time is hard to...

Such a simple design, but what a hell of a cue. That when you know you have a master of his craft ;)

Thanks Marc. I try to be as upfront as I can. It is a helluva cue. It has that old school solid hit that made alot of great players choose a Joss back in the 70s
