    Problem in China

Yep. He dropped it or slammed it on the table. Pretty substantial bend in that earlier pic. Looks like a classic tantrum if you ask me.

    Problem in China

September? Not a chance this is on you. Clearly this guy damaged his cue and wants to see if he can weasel his way into putting the responsibility on you to fix it. New policy. Buyer has 20 days from delivery to contact you about any structural issues. Something like this happening 3-4 months...

See if anyone can identify this cue?

Looks like an older butterfly house cue. If you want to sell it let me know. I like converting these for friends and family.

Billiards should be so lucky. It would revitalize the industry. The industry should back up the truck.

    How to fix pool

You’re absolutely right that the emphasis will be on the hall. There’s a big disconnect with the current type of pool hall and what would bring the younger generations to the playground. I think the current jukeboxes that are accessible from your phone is one positive. There’s gonna have to...

    How to fix pool

I mentioned none of those 3. Not sure why you would bring it up tbh. I brought up generations because that poster took to disparaging millennials. So yeah if you can’t reach them or Gen z you’re stuck with no market. You kinda need a market. Old customers don’t live forever. Pool needs new...

    How to fix pool

Well millennial’s are only a small concern as most don’t mind hanging out and having a drink or two and generally socialize in public places. They’re like Gen X lite. I think people matter more to saving pool than the rules do. The bigger concern would be Gen z as they predominantly despise...

Jerry's Billiards, Pasadena, CA - Another one biting the dust?

That conclusion is bullshit. At this point with them acknowledging the signature on the hours appears inconsistent with the rest of the signed document I'd sue them for fraud. There is really no basis for those hours. None whatsoever.

Jerry's Billiards, Pasadena, CA - Another one biting the dust?

It’s not this guys job to police a parking lot especially if the disturbances aren’t directly from his hall. He’ll need to weigh the cost but perhaps a security guard and some high quality cameras would go a long way in deterring problems.

Jerry's Billiards, Pasadena, CA - Another one biting the dust?

This is beyond outrageous. No ones capable of thinking any longer. Easily grandfathered in but everyone just goes by the book with zero thought about the people they affect.

    Relevant Cue Dimensions

I'll give my opinion here. I'm an amateur. Hobbyist. So Not a full time builder. First thing I look at is how straight it is. Usually the shaft is warped and that's fine because its getting cut off anyway. If you're wanting to leave the butt intact then that's a bit different and you need to...

Really. I prefer 1.26-27. I’ve got a Titlist I’m working on that turned thinner than expected. I figured I’d have a tough time selling it. Maybe there’s a market I didn’t know about for the thinner stuff.

    Not sold

Cost is certainly a factor when building a cue and that has to translate to the bottom for anyone making a living as a cue builder. I build cues as a hobby. But I’ve seen an increase in basic stuff like drill bits and sandpaper etc. Not to mention the cost to stabilize or purchase stabilized...
