    Gold Crown Paint codes

Jay, Let me know what comes out of your trip to SW. I have some of the white paint leftover. I could paint a small piece of wood, ship it to you and then you could have SW do a color match on the sample. Ian

    Custom Gold Crown Light

I painted mine gold to match my table. Id say no more obnoxious than the table itself. But we clearly all love our original GCs!

    Custom Gold Crown Light

Lights look incredible! You mention blue and white, what parts will be white? Have you decided on difussers or how you will handle that? Can't wait to see them painted.

    9' table in 18' room

Hi Frank, I like your plan to push the table toward the head rail, especially since you seem to prefer one pocket. I think people generally over emphasize when a room is an inch or 2 short. I have had rooms a few inches short and also put deep thought into it prior to installing table. I...

    Tyler showing true class

Not in my opinion. If you back a player you know their character and accept all that comes with it. Don't back a class act unless you are ok with how he handles himself, period. Nice move by Tyler. Ian

    Dcc 2021

I have only missed 3 DCC and typically go for 8 days, Friday to Saturday. I go almost solely for the action matches and pool gambling. This year the action was drastically down, especially from last year. Matches with top pros was almost non-existent. Last year, many many matches with top...

How to guage if table plays long or short?

Bob, thanks for response. Tested as you described, shooting through the 3rd diamond hits about 2" from the corner on the short rail. This is consistent from all corners.

How to guage if table plays long or short?

Thanks for the post. This diagram shows shooting through the 3rd diamond. There seems to be a bit of discrepancy on this point depending on who is explaining the system. In some of these 3 rail systems it shows through the 2nd diamond, others show the 3rd. What is the accepted standard for a...

How to guage if table plays long or short?

Hello guys, I recently had my GC installed with royal pro. The table plays very nice. I am trying to understand if the table would be described as playing long, short or "true". What are a couple paths I can shoot a ball around table to gauge how it plays? Thanks, Ian

brunswick GC2 setup & leveling pics-is this right?

Hi Don, This is all my opinion so take it for what its worth. :) Here is a comparison chart straight from brunswick. I agree with Scott and Trent's descriptions of a true GC2. Only made a few year, looks nearly identical to a 1 except the stain, the feet color and ball box color. The GC1...

    Gold Crown Collection

I'm not sure if there are differences. I would suspect that resins have changed over the last 40 years? I have not played with either of these sets so I can't speak for how they play. Ian

    Gold Crown Collection

I'm thinking about not using the GC lights. My current idea is to flush mount LED panels in the ceiling once I finish the basement. Try to make the lights subtle and not draw attention to them.

    Gold Crown Collection

Hi, I'm settled into my house and wanted to share my Gold Crown collection. I think I have shared all of this over the last few years, but this is the first time I have had both tables installed. I plan to finish the basement in the next year or so. (thanks again to Jack, Todd and Chris for...
