Hi,

I'm settled into my house and wanted to share my Gold Crown collection.
I think I have shared all of this over the last few years, but this is the first time I have had both tables installed. I plan to finish the basement in the next year or so. (thanks again to Jack, Todd and Chris for the setup)

(1) 9ft GC ball return
(1) 10ft GC billiard
(3) GC cue racks
(8) GC chairs with tables, (4 extra seats)
(5) titlist
(5) Tru balance
(10) challenger
(2) GC lights
(2) sets of centennials from the 60s
Original brochures, invoices and paperwork and Brunswick install manuals from the 9ft purchase in 1969

You have a very cool set up. Thanks a lot for sharing. The Billiard table is something special.

wow... very cool

Congrats.. set up look fantastic.

What year is the Jeep? What is the white plastic on the walls?

i love those old gold crowms

especially that blue one
My friend Jack Potter, formerly the maker of Libra cues,
is retired and likes to work with hishands

I had a very nice doll house with several rooms. Jack built a blue sides Gold Crown to scale in one of the rooms

I like the old blue chairs and everything you have

I have a centennial ,but I really like your Gold Crown better

my wife hates Gold Crowns, she says it makes the rooom look like
an oldpool hall, how would she know?

I tried a Kling to make her happy, but it didn't play like a Gold Crown

Neat old Jeep, youare living the dream

You need a 1979 Bonneville Triumph with 200 miles on
the restoration?

Wife again

This time the doctor is on her side

beautiful pool tables

Wow great! Are you going to put the led panels in the GC lights?

I'm thinking about not using the GC lights. My current idea is to flush mount LED panels in the ceiling once I finish the basement. Try to make the lights subtle and not draw attention to them.

1979 CJ5. As for the white, I think its insulation?

That's the real jeep. I like it a lot better than the larger CJ7. I bought one (white with black interior) for my daughter on her 18th birthday and she kept it for over ten years. I think it was a 1980.

Beautiful set up, xianmacx.

I need to find one more cue rack and I'm good. Maybe one or two of those CG brochures, if I can.

Josh

Gold Crowns and a CJ-5, you the man!

You’re all in on the Gold Crowns, the seating and the racks really set it up.
I’d use the lights, if you don’t like them you can always go with the flush mount.
You could refit the Brunswick lights with LEDs, as usedtoberich said, the best of old and new.

Thanks for posting, I felt like I was upstairs in the bowling alley, back in my formative years!

Dean you know how it works

If your wife dose not like Gold Crowns then you can’t like them either;)

Very cool stuff!!!! Are the old original Centennials different than new ones?? I have the original set from when my GCI was purchased in 1971-1972.

I'm not sure if there are differences. I would suspect that resins have changed over the last 40 years? I have not played with either of these sets so I can't speak for how they play.

Very impressive! My dream room would have a 10 foot pool, 10 foot billiard, and 12 foot snooker table!
