Which Of These 2 Cues Would You Buy??

OK, I'll chalk one up for your side, if you insist. 47-6, newbies making a comeback. Almost everybody I've ever asked about it says the older ones played better, and I guess you think the '99 model plays the best...right?

    Willie Mosconi Cue

But the signature looks like Willie's. Maybe it's a cheap post ww2 import that was autographed at one of his exhibitions, which were all over the country & sponsored by Brunswick.

    Most Grippy Leather Wrap

Kangaroo is very soft with a slight natural tack, best leather wrap available. Shark, stingray, elephant are all hard feeling with textures that are easier to grip than smooth leather. Spanish bull is soft but doesn't have a tackiness to it. Lizard is very slick, stacked wrap has texture but...

Which Of These 2 Cues Would You Buy??

I like the Mezz but with a different wrap, should play great. Schon has too much gingerbread for my taste, and have heard the older ones play better.

Why buy a custom cue over a factory made one?

I guess CNC in the production cue arena has made a big difference, I haven't owned one in a while but wouldn't mind. Years ago, there used to be quite a difference in a production line of the same cue...in all respects. If I bought an 18 ounce cue, it could be 18.1 or 18.9 ounces (or 17.3)...
