Justis Case Knockoff Design Thief Exposed

Competition is everywhere and is rarely fair. It is also extremely hard to successfully support products, species, or methods that are losing the competition battle regardless of how "right" it seems to try. Anybody in any business who doesn't find a way to deal with this is destined to fail.

    What Motivates You?

I'm still motivated by the whole process of learning the game. I get a real sense of accomplishment when I draw a perfect position to a hard spot or make a difficult shot. Understanding how I did it and knowing I could do it again are very important. I am much more analytical than intuitive...

    Mirror Banking Tool Question...

This is as good a diagram as I have seen to illustrate the mriror system. I understand the diagram and the idea behind it but must lack some visualisation skill required to make it work. I have had to use other methods that require less imagination. I think many players especially new players...

I'm Starting to Hate "Kitchen" BIH in Bar

I know exactly what you mean. The plain truth is bar rules suck. There is no way around it. Where I live it's either bar pool or my own table so for the chance to play other people I play some bar pool. I guess bad pool is better than no pool and I win more than I lose so that helps.

Have you purposely lost a game to gain a handicap?

I lose often but I'll never lose on purpose. The closest I can come is to play recklessly with my nephews. :)

    Wobble when rolling cue

It would bother me too. I have cue with a very small wobble. One that could never affect it's use and I don't notice it at all if I use it. Still just knowing it's not perfectly straight makes me not choose it to play with. It gets in my head. If I was having other work done on the cue I would...

    Posts revisited

Its not hard to believe that Jude finds a post of such insight and importance to the better pool players on our forum entertaining. I hope many future posts rise to this level. AZB will be a better place for us new "c" players as well.

    Posts revisited

Blackballed has taken an interesting way of annswering this question. But to me all he has proven is that anyone can be intentionally annoying or funny. iI his immediate revisit to this topic was intended as a joke- well pretty funny but.... New posters appreciate the interaction of asking a...

    Meucci quality

I purchased mine at Budget Billiards (don't know if they are still in business). They have the long ferrule. I have played with a lot of different cues, custom and production, owned by friends and me and I like the black dot shaft best of all. Those shafts sure take a bad rep beating from most...

    Meucci quality

I have several new Meucci cues. I also have several Dominiak custom cues and a Predator SP. I almost always play with the Meuccis. I love the black dot shaft (better than Predator IMHO). All the cues I purchased were well made. None have warped. In that respect I have been lucky. If you get a...

    Threads I Hate The Most

Whenever people with a common interest gather there will be off topic banter and discussion. When done in moderation and a sense of fun it adds to the forum experience.

    hand chalk options

Another (maybe unpopular) alernative is a glove. I don't understand how gloves got the stigma that they have when every other sport (ie baseball, football, golf etc.) seem fine with them. I hate to play without one. The feel of a good cue on a good glove is consistent and perfect under any heat...

    Ball-in-hand ethical question

I guess I took my guide from many years of playing golf. You call fouls on yourself. If I won a match in any game and had fouled without calling it I would not feel like I really won.
