Go on Ebay and buy a $39.00 "Lucky" cue from a Mcdermott dealer. If you don't the way it feels, try changing the tip for about &20.00. You will be amazed how good it hits.
I sat and watched her play a match at the Swanee in 2011. She won one game by total luck. I was not impressed by any part of her game. Melinda would beat her up. I would guess 7 - 1, or worse.

If you look closely at the Schon shaft, the threaded collar is encased in plastic. Same with Runde's. I believe it softens the hit a little. I have tried other shafts as well and they seem to "Hit' a little firmer.
