    The Mosconi slipstroke

I recently came across a hand written letter that made reference to Lou Butera having trouble with his slip stroke. He changed cues apparently. I will enjoy looking back at some footage with this in mind

World Pool Series Grand Final (8Ball) 31 Oct-3Nov

In the HighRock Challenge Lo Li Wen gets a walk-over in the first round, and only had to beat Manny Perez to get into quarter-finals. Weak sauce. At least Sierra only lost by two games, Appleton got smoked like a salmon.

    what type of felt

It's a fair history of the Simonis company but you can't learn much else from it. Specifically, why certain weaves allow cloth to stretch or not stretch in a given direction, why some threads fray while others do not, what difference thread size and count make, or what effects the type of weave...

    Harold Worst

I'm looking at an article from Jan 8th 1926 that says Andrew St. Jean ran 161 in a challenge match against Rudolph. It was a 1500 point match over several days. He started the run ( 13 balls) during a Wed night session, ran 125 and out during Thursday morning session, and that evening ran 23...

Billy Thorpe - A Pet Peeve Of Mine

More people PLAY pool than almost every other sport in the u.s. And ironically there is literally millions of dollars a year being spent on pool, and being paid out in prize monies. PRO POOL is in terrible shape, yes, but the game is very prolific otherwise .

Raw History- The U.S. Open 1966-1975

It is interesting isn't it. And a little disheartening to learn that their intent, from the beginning, has truly always been bolstering their own retail sales. The funding, just like today, would have been provided by member dues, their own corporate donations and sponsorships, and the...
