It is common when the weight bolt is drilled and tapped for the bumper screw, but some cues have a push in bumper. Hope this helps.--Leonard

You can put the bolt at the back with a little white glue on the threads and the same if you want the bolt further up in the cue. Try it at the back and hit a few balls and move it to see if it feels better in another spot before you glue it in. Some cues have 2 bolts jammed together or...
