    Colorado Open Sept 13-25 2024

Yes I believe it has been less than a year since it opened. Kind of an industrial building, I thought it was going to be a membership type deal but now no. Pretty much just pool mister.

    Colorado Open Sept 13-25 2024

I think this place opened not long ago and has tried to stay a little under the radar. My son played in a tourney there not long ago and liked it. Their website is a little weak.

    New cloth effects on banks?

I feel like they lengthen, maybe do to the slight slide coming off the rail.

    New cloth effects on banks?

I have seen it change due to new cloth. And if the balls are newer and still polished it seems to double the effect.

Does cleaning pool balls with clothes detergent & 3-M Scotchbright green-side sponge damage the balls?

I would say it would depend on the condition of the balls. Like if they were found in the titanic and had coral growing on them...that would work. If they are just dull and dirty I would use Aramith ball polishing compound. You can do this by hand or make/buy a dedicated ball polisher. Cheap...

I guess the new CueTec is more than just a CF butt...

It would be cool to use a jump cue on a purple 5 ball in zero gravity. Maybe into the next galaxy, not sure the players there would want it though.🤔

    Sad news once again.

Sorry to hear about Bob. He amazed me years ago with his ability to win and his graceful stroke. I got the chance to see him play a few times in Florida. RIP Black Bart.

How long would it be ok to leave cue in car in hot humid weather?

I was in Arizona in July, I had my defroster on high and left my Meucci on the dash. I parked so the windshield was facing the sun. When I got off work the dang thing had lost its warp and the inlays were perfectly flush for once.;)

    Cue I.D. help please

Any other pics of this cue? Ernie has been a little hard to get a hold of but I think he is still on the front range. I have never seen one of his cues without the stylized EM. Maybe that's a very early one.

How to identify an antique Brunswick Cue?

I would guess the cue is probably about 100 years old. As far as the value, if the cue is straight I would think it would be in the $150 to $250 range. Possibly Rosewood and maybe an Ivory ferrule? Fishing line wrap looks like its in decent shape. No points on the forearm and a possible split...
