    Future of cuemaking

It's a great life Hi Vincent, Its been a while. I have to agree with Qbilder for the most part. Its difficult to break even at best because of the expenses. Now you are working for less than minumum wage because of this passion to make great cues. The hardest part for me to overcome is the name...

    My first pointed cue

What next? Great looking cue. The way you are progressing, it won't be long until there is a pantagraph or cnc along with veneers in the points. Who knows, even some full splice cues with veneers. Keep up the good work and progress, its a rotten job but someone has to do it.

The second one was modified several years ago. Skinnied down and a 5/16-14 pin replacement. The bottom one was completed...

New To You Cuemaker LOGO Done !!!

Dual purpose logo I think you should move the C back towards the back, put a crank handle on it, some eyes on the cue and now you have a fishing rod or pool cue. LOL! Thanks for the tip about where to fish. I caught a 37" Jack on the jetty. It took about 20 minutes to land. Had 15# mono on the...

    Some nice lumber

Nice work I guess the fishing has not been good lately. Bad weather keeps you in the shop. Not a bad thing by the looks of the cues. I'll be down to see you and Willee next month. Hope fishing picks up by then. Great work.

What makes a great cue better than a good cue ...?

Things are not always equal It would confirm your belief regarding this matter. Your cues hit as good as any made.

    Full splice jig

So Dave, Structural integrity is the only point that you don't agree with. As the Canadian said about wood joinery, have you seen a high perfomance shaft come apart because of the glue line? Do you mean that the X, 314, OB1 have an expiration date? They are staking their reputation as well as...

    Full splice jig

I think most people in this forum would consider a Brunswick Titlist a full splice cue. I think most would think a four point house cue such as a Duffrin to be a full splice cue also. The definition of splice is to join two pieces together by thining them to overlap and fastening the overlaps...
