Tight pockets are NOT good for the game!

Tight pockets are overrated. We all have a maximum talent level that is attainable. Tight pockets cannot raise the natural talent we are born with. They can only frustrate us.

Least favorite thing about the Derby?

The smoke. Lack of seating to watch matches. People take a seat and keep them for their buddies for the entire day in some sections. If you leave your seat, it should be up for grabs. That's more of a personal consideration problem than a tourney issue. The buybacks - the tourneys will always...

Anyone interested in refinishing a Brunswick Centennial in Ohio?

Here's what I have. I was told that the rails were sanded and then teak oil was applied to them about 10 years ago. They look fine to me, but I was wondering if I should have them clear-coated for protection. I would also be interested in having the aluminum cleaned up and brought back to an...

Has anyone ever made thier own ball return system for a Brunswick Centennial?

I have the original cardboard shutes. They could be used as a crude template. I heard that a guy once made a complete ball return system out of PVC for a 9’ Victor Cleveland table. I was hoping someone had done that for a Centennial or Anniversary and could share their knowledge with us.

Has anyone ever made thier own ball return system for a Brunswick Centennial?

I recently purchased a Centennial with the original gully, but it's not in the best condition. I have seen where people have crafted their own system for other styles of tables. I'm wondering if anyone ever did one for a Centennial.

Year of production for a Brunswick Centennial?

Is it possible to identify the exact year of production for a Brunswick Centennial? I’ve read some previous threads, but I couldn’t find a definitive answer. I purchased one yesterday. Is this the serial number? If so, is this a C or C1? I wasn’t sure if the 1 was for the model or SN. Any help...
