asbani The Wavy joint and 3/8-10 pins are not the same. The diameter and pitch could be close, or maybe the same, but the profile is completely different. Gulyassy used an acme 3/8-10 pins on a lot of cues. It's possible that you're local cue repair person has that acme tap and is re-tapping...
