    Mystery cue

Definitely not a Robert Weir cue, Weir cues used a flying W on the forearm for trademarking and were just a production cue made under contract by Adam

Dealer cost on Diamond Table? Anyone know?

The thing is it really doen't matter, if you ask me what I paid for something I'm selling I'll tell you point blank 'It's none of your damned business'. My price is my price and if you don't want to pay that price then don't buy it. For me it's just that simple.

PPV - Jan 11-15 30th Annual Music City Open 9 Ball

You know, you have a decent product but the way you handle the bracket chart and updates is pitiful. Who won the midnight madness? And why can't you post a proper bracket chart so the spectators can check to see how players are doing? And before you start, yes I am a subscriber and have been...

    Pool Room in Warehouse Space!

The reason you rarely ever see an old timey pool room is because they don't work they go broke. The food and drink is what supports the business. The local room here has 20 tables and is very successful but table rent is less than 15% of the business.

    Let's compare balls!

I have a set each of standard Aramith, Brunswick Centennial and Albany Hyatt balls and have played with all. They all react ball to ball the same. In playing at the DCC with the Cyclop balls I found this not to be the case. Afterward, I wondered if it was just me or the balls and contacted...

    ferrule material

Those ferrules were called fiber and was made of a blended material of wood pulp and cotton fibers. It made a very sturdy material which could stand up to a lot of abuse but did stain and had a tendency to move. Properly installed they were very serviceable ferrules.

what cue would hit better then a joss west

I'm going to be honest with you I don't like Bill Stroud, he's an ass but the truth is you're not likely to a cue that hits and plays much better than his. And the older cues were mostly tastefully done not like the gawdy stuff he turned out later.

    Bogus Tim Scruggs Cue

Rib, you are correct, Bill was building cues in the 70's and never worked for Tim or was apprenticed by Tim. By the way expect this thread to go away, that's what happened the last time I corrected Nick regarding his rant against Bill.

    Bogus Tim Scruggs Cue

In the early days of Scruggs Cues Bill and Tim were friends and Bill was a financial partner in Tim's business. At the time they were both making cues, Bill in Jackson TN and Tim in Baltimore. At times Bill would also help Tim in developing new inlay designs and would also do some...
