    Chem-pak ball cleaner?

So maybe it does not perform the same as Aramith after all.

    Chem-pak ball cleaner?

I'm surprised to hear that. Maybe I have the wrong person. There was a guy who did a throw test like the one I did on Novus 1 vs Aramith and said the Meguir's performed the same. That wasn't you?

    Chem-pak ball cleaner?

If they used a product designed for cleaning balls and not cars they would play normally right out of the ball machine.

    Sharivari on aiming....

I made my own curtain video to prove that very point.

    The 100 Shots of Pool

Some guy called Ray says there are only 99 critical shots in pool. Is there one more shot that isn't critical? :)

He won his first professional ranking event at aged 17 years and 358 days

Some considered him the fifth Beatle.

I think it was Mosconi who said that the great players could just play right away.

    Waste of money pool items

Joint protectors. Two piece cues were just fine for 75 years or so but now you need something to protect the joint? Next thing you know they'll be making a joint protector protector. I know some will disagree.

    Gus Szamboti 70's

That seems to be the case, I guess, but I think there will always be interest in the Bushka and Szam level cues.

    Gus Szamboti 70's

Obviously, the cue is not for sale unless someone offers stupid money for it. Given that this is more of a "what's it worth now?" thread I'm OK with it, though I don't know if you can track valuation of such things in 6 month time frames. We're not talking about cars or houses.

    English on the break shot.

Mosconi pretty much only had one break shot. A sharp angle that sent the cue ball straight into the pack. Hard to scratch.

What do you think the best shotmakers have in common?

Michael Jordan addressed your exact question. He said what separates the good pro's from the great ones is solid fundamentals. You can get away with winging it and having tons of talent but to get to the elite level you need the fundamentals. Maybe this is why you often see the great ones...

Adjusting aim when down on the shot without losing accuracy in alignment

Fantastic! Putting in the hours and paying attention to detail has really paid off for you. I'm up to about 1 hour per week right now. :(

Adjusting aim when down on the shot without losing accuracy in alignment

That's great progress. What size table are you playing on? That makes a big difference - bar box vs 9 foot, etc..

How do you handle light sharking?

I don't know if it is the same incident remembered differently but Mosconi said that was Irving Crane always dressed in a nice suit so they would have fun with him by accidentally spilling white powder on his trousers.

How do you handle light sharking?

I knew a guy years ago, before earbuds, who would put two quarters in his ear. That's two, not one, and only in one ear. I never asked.

Most common positional shots in rotation games, that require extreme side?

I saw an old Mike Sigel match recently in which he was hitting a rail shot where the ob was maybe an inch off the rail. He used extreme low outside for the shot which really surprised me. I hit some shots like that and you can pretty much aim straight at the ob and it will go in... not sure...

Adjusting aim when down on the shot without losing accuracy in alignment

Didn't have time to read this and give it justice, but I think you have to have your chin on the cue for this to work. Is that right? Most don't play that way.
