He is from Taiwan. I saw him play in a tournament in Thailand a couple years ago which included Efren, Alcano, Orcullo, Daz, Stevie Moore and others. He didn't win but he can play with the big boys.

Yes, Sherman is from Taiwan but has lived in Shanghai for a long time. He is an investor and manager of one of the largest pool rooms in Shanghai and a helluva player too.
Correct. I saw her in some of the earlier pictures shooting at the Kingwood display, I think. In those pictures the guy in black beside her is her Korean coach and the tall floppy haired guy in the grey tee shirt is Sherman Liu, her manager in China.
I have lived in Asia for many years and can tll you that soccer (football here) is as popular and followed as well or more than any sport in the US. followed closely by F1, cricket,basketball(China) and rugby. Snooker follows somewhere after those.
Pool is also followed very closely in China...
