World Cup of Pool 2014(Portsmouth, UK) 23-28Sep (9ball Scotch Doubles) Winner $60K

Good break, 2 is visible but not pottable. Darren plays a good safe, but Finland can see the edge of the 2. A bad safe by Finland leave a long tough pot for Boyes.. and he makes it with position on the 3. No problems left on the table so this rack probably goes to England: 6-4 ahead.

World Cup of Pool 2014(Portsmouth, UK) 23-28Sep (9ball Scotch Doubles) Winner $60K

Good break by Darren, 1 and 2 go down, and the table is nice and open.. but the 3 rolls to a short rail and a tough shot is up for Boyes. He makes it and darren is up for the key shot. He does it well, excellent shape on the 6 and this rack should go to England.

England doesnt take the push out and Finland tries a jumpshot. It seems safe, but Darren makes a nice long rail kickshot with perfect position. The rest of the rack is open. Finland 3-2 England, England to break

If it wasn't for the point of the side pocket! Finlands gets odd shape on the 4 and leaves a two wya shot on the 5: 5 bank over the long rail and the cue ball caroms off it to pot the 7 in the corner. The bank is made and a few simple shots finish it of: 3-1 Finland to break, a legal break...

England 1 - Finland 2 Good break by England leaving the 2 potable, but making the shot will send the 3 flying. He makes the shot, but the 3 ends up bad. A missed bank leads to a (probably) fairly easy rack for Finland.

OK, so it is England - Finland first and the Finnish start off with a 2 rack lead

Glad you like it, and thanks for spreading the word! Havent seen an official confirmation of the two semi's yet. Matchroom says: Sunday’s semi-final matches: 1:00 pm (GMT+0) Holland v Austria England A v Finland So I assume Holland - Austria is first to play...

What's the difference between Holland and The Netherlands? Holland (the red part on the map) really consist of two provinces (north and south Holland) that first made up an independent country that eventually became The Netherlands. People from other eastern, northern and southern provinces...

Personally that is why I liked Bonus Ball: it forced players to play the weirdest shots. The nature of the game (playing a longest run and more aspects) made players try extreme shots. In 9ball very economic play is just effective, unfortunatly. I also prefer players who play more intuitively...

Yes even I (Dutch) sometimes was a tiny bit bored by the 'methodologist' play, but the match was exciting enough to me!! A couple very tough racks where cleared nicely by Niels and Nick. Germany looked so strong but the miss by Hohmann and a couple good safeties allowed them to equalize and then...

loooking forward to the Match, GO HOLLAND!!! But I fear Germany will win. Theyre solid as a rock and this feels bad to say, but Nick van den Berg is good, but not excellent. But they are good teamies so I hope they'll take the win!
