World Cup of Pool 2014(Portsmouth, UK) 23-28Sep (9ball Scotch Doubles) Winner $60K

Jump shot at 7-7?

I just witnessed possibly the best pool player on the planet attempt a high-risk jump shot where the obstructing ball was closer to the object ball than the cue ball. This is an international event, single elimination, and he attempts this shot at 7-7! Even if he landed on top of the object ball the results were uncertain. Thoughts?

Jim Wych likes Austria, two friends who come in to play together, which means a lot. Jim thinks they're a bit of a dark horse, but he said watch out for Holland and Germany, the experience.

They are now showing highlights of what happened earlier today.

Finland waits the winner of USA vs. England.

Austria awaits the winner of Germany vs. Holand.

I think Austria will suprise the world and win this event.

Ouschan will be a big player for the next decade.

Jim said Wang Can of China had a little bit of a problem with what he ate earlier today and wasn't feeling well when he played.

Philippines came here as the defending champions, and even in their first two matches, they just looked like they had never settled in, says Jim. Finland, well, they've got the experience of having won it, so they weren't to be taken lightly. Finland is a very deserving semi-finalist.

Jim Wych's crystal ball says Germany v. Holland, they know each other inside-out. They're all robotic and good friends. He thinks it will come downt o the breka.

Jim says England better not make eye contact with Earl, and that Earl is tough to play with. Shane will probably be turning his earpice down, but Jim likes England. Damn it.

It's working😆👍

It's now Germany vs. Holland. Thorsten and Ralf for Germany and Niels and Nick for Holland.

Nick just wants to play their own game and not worry about what anybody says about them. They just want to play their best game.

They are welcoming them into the arena, World Cup of Pool Champions, Team Germany. Ralf and Earl walk in, wearing white shirts and their spnosor patches. Music is forbiding and scary. The crowd applauds.

Their opponent, Team Holland, wearing orange-looking shirts. More polite applause. Niels and Nick wave to the crowd as they go to their perches.

Holland wins first game, 1 to zero. Souquet and Hohman are stone-faced, stoic, no emotion.

3-9 combo to win it.

Niels breaking, makes 2 balls on the break. Niels is currenlty the number-one ranked player in the world.

How many times do you think Ted Lerner is going to say how deliberite the Germans are.
Hint think of a high number.
