i had the guys at joe blackburn do a leather wrap on my Carmeli. don't think it was joe who actually did it. i'm pleased with the work. if you look closely you can spot the seam,but can't feel it. $125

i also met joeya at SBE yesterday. turns out we're former marines together. also met a few other former marines. i had a blast. got a leather wrap for my carmeli for my major purchase.

my son and i will be there today. leaving in about 1 hr. i'll have black marines tee and a Carmeli hat.

trob said it right. last year was my first SBE and i was in absolute awe of the magintude of the two floors. have to admit petroni banging his head on the table was unbeliveable. anyone who has any interest in pool will be in "hog heaven"

back in the middle 60's(surprised i can still remember that far back) "rotation slim" hustled at our local room. i still remember him as making shots that were bizarre. he was side betting on shots. probably took a few thousand out of there for one nite's work.

i had the good fortune to see Rotation Slim play in the middle sixties. he impressed the hell outa me then and now that i know what pool is all about,i'm even more amazed. he made shots that were un freaking believable. his uncle shoots with us at our local hall.
