    triangle

Nice idea, but how do you do that? I agree with the intent, but that can't be done using any normal triangle rack because the inside of the triangle is larger than "the actual edge of the 14 balls."

Cue ball/object ball table markers. Help me find one please.

I saw Bob Jewett use a small corner bracket at DCC a few years ago. Worked perfect. https://www.ovisonline.com/Corner-Brace-1-x-1-inch-Zinc-Plated-P1346.aspx?gclid=Cj0KCQiAmafhBRDUARIsACOKERMCEu60h22ijjoFb8A3qZubvFyjzzn1ggyu-32yiLo8u3AVzGxChTgaArkdEALw_wcB

    Shaft comparison

And while you're at it, what's a "compression shaft"?

    Proof of method

Because... 1. It should save a lot of time since you don't have to repeatedly setup the same shot. 2. It removes the variables related to stroke, etc. Seems like a good idea to me. Naturally you also have to be able to actually shoot the ball into the pocket before you are done.

    Lessons at DCC

Scott is clearly a good choice. I also arranged a group lesson a few years ago with Jerry Briesath during DCC: http://www.thepoolschool.com/

    DCC noob questions

For those with a car... Check this funky place out for craft brews and really good pizza: http://newalbanian.com/pizzeria-and-public-house/menus/ It's 14 miles away and well worth the trip. You can thank me later. Note: This is not the location on Bank Street in New Albany. This is the one...

14.1 Scorekeeping - The Mitchell Jarad Snooker Version Is An Excellent Choice!

Someone on AZB had some like this for sale, but they were better in that the wood frame was finished, the top & bottom beads were different colors and no tags for 10, 20, 30 etc. https://www.panjo.com/buy/straight-pool-mini-bead-counter-375734

Why do I keep getting chalk dust on my sfafts?

I doubt that you can get the tubes very clean, but you can wipe the tips before putting them away to keep it from getting worse.

    Tourney Question For Bob Jewett

Like many others, I dislike the double elimination tournament format. If I'm put out early, that's not much fun, but if I put some wins together, the snail's pace between matches can be crappy too. I understand that single elimination would probably have poor participation because players would...

    Straightening a Warped Shaft

I had a radial pin Predator 314 that I stopped using when I sold the cue that I bought it for. It sat around for a long time - probably a few years - and sometime during that stretch, it developed a curve in it. It wobbled when rolled on the table. I put a pencil mark on the ferrule to indicate...

    How are table dimensions specified?

Thanks for the info Glen. So where are the specs documented? Isn't it true that the pocket shelves on Diamond tables are deeper than say a GC? I guess it's hard for the layman to understand how specs can be open to interpretation.

    How are table dimensions specified?

Sorry if this has been covered many times before, but I did a search with no useful results. Do manufacturers come up with their own table specs? Is each model pretty much unique in terms of specs?

    Cue Extentions

What's it weigh? I use a permanent extension so that I don't have to deal with the cue being heavier when reaching with a temporary extension. The bazooka appears to be well designed, but what does it add to the weight of the cue?

    Storing cue shaft

Pvc I live in Florida where humidity can be a problem. I hang some extra shafts in the closet inside capped PVC tubes. I place a few packets of silica inside the airtight tubes to remove the moisture. If humidity is not a problem, just leave out the silica. This is a cheap and easy solution.
