Why Did This Varney Thread Get Locked?????

C'mon Marcus, you've been on this site for a while... Why do you think it was locked? Did Cincyman get his cue? How does it play? Barbara

Sarah Ellerby vs Jennifer Chen (How would you rule?)

Sunny, Ming was in a car accident about two years ago and got really hurt. That's where she got the shoulder injury. But if you guys are betting Ming vs Sarah, I'd take Ming. I saw her in action at that VF incident many moons ago. Barbara

Do you need a good laugh?

I couldn't see what you were referring to until I came home to my laptop, but I had a feeling it was DerekDisco's youtube vids. Absolutely, hands-down, pure genius! Barbara

    Cue-Tech Pool School In Maryland

I attended Randy's traveling pool school 7 or 8 years ago in CT. It will make your brain hurt. They put you through a lot of workshops. It was well worth the money back then. Barbara

    Strange Night to remember.

Hu, My only point is that when I was out playing in leagues and leaving by myself, I was always aware of my surroundings and ready to use my cue case to whack anyone who maybe wanted a piece of my possessions. Much like holding my keys through my knuckles through a parking lot when I'm...

    Strange Night to remember.

If anything, a cue in a case would make for a big whack upside [name your favorite body part]. I've always been poised to use this equipment for my defense. Barbara

    Strange Night to remember.

Great idea about the flash!! Anyone who's been hit with that in a picture taking session can attest to that! This reminds me of when I was a college and used to go food shopping in a slightly undesirable section of Philly. I was totally the minority - white, female, but I hedged my bets and...

    Unbelievable!!!! Stolen Cues Recovered!

Wow!! Congrats on the sleuthing and detective work! Visiting the local pawn stores worked for you. in the Philly area, you would probably have to add the Atlantic City pawn shops to your circle. That would add about 70 miles. Barbara

    Ted Harris

If you can find someone who deals his cues, you'd probably be better off, timewise. You won't be disappointed with his cues. I've known Ted for over 12 years. I've let him handle my Barry Szamboti cue. I bought a cocobolo sneaky from someone in the Philly area selling his cues in 2000 and I...

WOW!!! $3500.00 added Amateur Women's Event?!?

Wow Sunny!! That's a great event that's going to pay out!! Is a Qualifier involved? I orginally got the $4000 added NJ State Women's 9-ball Championship event going a couple years ago. Prime Time Billiards wanted a WPBA-style tourney, and I said, SHOW ME THE MONEY, and they showed it! 100%...
