    New direction for the players

This would be another step back to get fans involved in pool. I have autographs from professional baseball, football players, and also NASCAR drivers and I have never been asked to pay for an autograph. I actually find it hard to believe that any pro pool player would feel this way.

Using glare off balls for aiming method????

Aiming using the glare I was taught this when I first started playing several years ago, but it is not reliable. If the lights are not perfectly centered over the table espically a 9 foot table the glare is not centered.

    Break Cue Question

Thanks for the advise, one thing I was concerened about was the losing the stiffness with the longer shaft. I notice a lot of of give with my playing cue, but with my arm length I can not get comfortable with a 58 inch cue. I never thought about a cue extension. I think for now I will try...

    Break Cue Question

I am 6' 5" tall and use a Carter 60 inch cue. My break cue is a 1st edition sledgehammer jump/break. I would like some advise of some experince players, if I should talk to a custom cue maker about making me a 60 inch break cue. The only problem is it feels funny being 2 inches shorter. I do not...

    Practice Time

I like to start out with simple follow and draw shots to limber up due to a bad back. Then I will work on shots that give a problem during league or in a tournament. When this starts to get boring, I like to work with Bert Kinister short, middle, and long game exercises. I also will keep my...

Joe Villalapando's video-long but good post

I received Joe's volume 1 and 1 dvd's today and reviewed them and I saw a lot of information on them that will step my game up. I am probably a low B player. Kicking and cue ball control is not my strong suite, so I think I have a lot to gain with these programs.

What does everyone like about BCA?

Bca I have played APA and BCA both. I have to favor the BCA the best. The handicap system is to easy to sandbag and I do not like the ideal of playing where slop counts. Everyone makes a lucky shot once in a while, but I do like calling all shots the best. All in all, leagues are to have fun...

    Stroke

I have a question about my stroke, is it possible to come back to far on the back stroke. I am not happy with my finishes in tournaments mainly due to the lack of being consistent. I am working on my pre-shot routine and I have noticed that on my back swing is not the same every time.

    Coonies in Logansport, IN

This Saturday is on two 9 foot tables, last night I think there was still three spots left. On Sunday it is on 7 foot tables. There is still plenty of spots for Sunday. On the break and run, if your ticket is drawn you have to break and if you make a ball run them out. Basically BCA rules.
