What is your Favorite Pool Item You Own?

I would have to say my playing cue. I know it is not a custom BUT it has the most amazing piece of birdseye maple, awesome cocobolo, and a sweet black leather wrap. There is nothing I can do to make it look better than it does in my eyes.

    30" shafts....

The differences are amazing. When I play with a 57" house cue it seems very short. When I play with my 58" cue it seems just right for me. When I played with a friends 59" cue it just seems so long and I did not like it. I guess it just shows that it is all based on the person

Break Cue or Break shaft for existing cue

I was not impressed with my BK2 for the first few days until I learned that I was not hitting close enough to the center of the ball. Once i started to do that the hit was phenomenal. It felt like I was getting lots of power and the balls would scatter nice. It just takes some getting used to.

Why is everyone attacking eachother. Just squash it and move on. No use dragging this out.

    Different Cue For 14.1

Well some of your reasoning makes sense lol... I just like being able to get used to one cue with the deflection. I would probably do the same if I tried billiards. Maybe it is because I am not an A player and I can't adjust to different cues.

    Old Videos

I noticed in a lot of old videos the players seemed to be stand up players and now the players are right on top of the cue. when did the transition take place? Why did it happen? Am I completely wrong?

    9B: Runout or Early 9?

I disagree that people that look for the early 9 are bangers. There are players that I have seen locally that can run out from everywhere and still have no problem taking the early 9. if there are 3 balls on the table take the run but if there are clusters hard shots ect and the 9 is available...

When your down on a shot?

I practiced today and found visualizing everything that was going to happen really helped me a lot. I noticed it most when I would have to go a few rails and just miss a few balls in order to get shape. I would step back and just imagine what I wanted to happen and what spin I would need to...
